Ski Chalets in Chatel

Chatel is located in the Haute Savoie region of France and forms part of the Portes du Soleil ski area. It is a large resort with 54 lifts offering skiers an incredible 1000 metres (3280 feet) of vertical descent. Chatel has 49 pistes with a total length of 83 kilometers (52 miles). Chatel is best suited to beginner skiers and snowboarders; however there is some terrain for both expert and intermediates. And of course, the Portes du Soleil lift pass offers extensive skiing for all abilities. In addition, Chatel offers 49 kilometers (31 miles) of cross country ski trails. For snowboarders, there is a terrain park.
